Where is the inlet you are talking about? A little more information, and I could make some suggestions. I’ve caught lots of flounder off jetty rocks, but not every situation calls for the same rig or bait. Remember, flounder are bottom fish, so you need rig that keeps your bait close to the bottom, or something like a weighted feather if you don’t use fresh bait.

Is it bad at all to feed your betta fish from the tip of your finger?
I was watching some youtube videos of people sticking a little piece of food to the tip of their finger and holding it right above the water to have their betta fish jump out and grab it! I was wondering if that stresses out the fish at all because i want to try it lol

admin answers:
As long as there is no soap or other chemicals, its fine.

Lizzie asks…
Recently decided to become a vegetarian, need some tips?
im sixteen years old. and as of this year i have decided to give vegetarianism a try. ( i saw a video on how meat is produced, and it really got to me)
anyways, i wanted some suggestions on good foods to eat, to get protein and stuff. (i don’t like fish)
and maybe any vitamins that would be good.
thanks so much(:

admin answers:
Take multi vitamins
and buy products such as, Boca and Morning Star.
I’m a big Boca lover. Boca and Morning Star are a line of fake meat.
They have patties, “chik’n” nuggets, sausages, etc. And they are meat less, and a good source of protein ![]()
they sell these meat substitutes at groceries stores.
Good luck!

David asks…
How do you do a fish flop roll?
I really want to do a fish flop roll like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKcgAyfbdZY
I get to the legs up in the air (straight) position but then I don’t really get how to contract and roll through your tummy and change your head posiiton as well!
Any tips?
Thanks very much !!
alsoo, what is your head position in the pike ?? thanks.

admin answers:
I’m still working at this too. When you contract, you need to imagine yourself rolling down in pieces. Imagine each vertebrae dropping to the ground, but all other parts of you stay up as long as possible.

Laura asks…
Tips for planted aquarium?
I am starting my new aquarium project and have asked a few questions about stocking options. I have kept a cichlid tank and a community fish tank for over three years now with no problems. I recently bought another 72gal bowfront and am not sure what to do with it.
I am inclining myself to a planted aquarium with angel fish, discus, and neon tetras. The question is do you have any tips for planted aquariums.
Here is a list of things I need I would like for you to add anything else I missed.
Plants: What type of plants do you recommend. I am starting so if there are any plants that are easier to grow please list them.
Substrate: Can I use sand as such? If not, then what is a cheap alternative. (I am working on a budget). Also, it has be compatible with the plants you listed and the fish I listed.
Co2: I have only glanced at this subject and know I need it to grow plants. Are there any DIY projects I should be looking at? Please send links to videos or tutorials.
Light: What type of light should I use? Where can i get it at. (home depot?)
Any other materials I’m missing? Please list them as well.

Some plants are
java ferns, they are relatively easy to use .You can find bulbs to plant at any pet store .
Or java moss its easy to grow to (diy)
it depends on what fish you have I think gravel would be much better than sand .Sand is much harder to clean.
And for light ,it you fish aquarium didn’t come with it ,buy it at you pet store .Which would be 3 watts per gallon. The best thing would be strip lighting .
