George asks…

Why do bass change colour?

I have 2 bass in my fish tank along with a turtle. when i got the bass about 2 months ago they were both the same size and silver. Now one of the bass is a lot larger then the other and the smaller one is black. The weird thing is, i thought maybe the small one was sick and i was getting ready to have a fishy funeral. Today he is silver with black fins… He was completely black yesterday.
Does anyone know why this happens? Male/Female…Hot/Cold temperature Or are my fish sick? Thanks for any useful answers guys! :)

admin answers:

They probably aren’t sick though it is possible :(

They change color because of Water Clarity , they even change color depending upon the location and cover in the impoundment.

Mary asks…

fishing spots in a lake?

hello everyone

well I am new to fishing. I would like to know where to fish in a lake. bank or dock or where exactly could we have more fish.
i am interested in catfish bass and other fish. well what is the best time to fish?

well hope i get an answer from a pro.

thanks

admin answers:

Well, I am definitely not a pro, but I love to fish. Especially catfish…. Fish near logs, cover, but be careful, I usually get hung up at least once.. Watch the water, catfish will sometimes roll and you can kind of see where they MIGHT be. Sometimes when you get into catfish there will be a lot in that one spot. Just keep your line in the water and try different spots….You never know where they might be…
